Stainless steel and bronze.
8 metres high.
The sculpture encapsulates a sense of place through cast bronze references to Doncaster's past and present, from the town's
origins on the River Don and its border position between the tribes of the Coritani and Brigantes, to its railway engineering and the urban development which followed.
Each of the 10 bronzeworks has its own theme represented by artefacts and visual references. Alongside these images are artworks designed by children and adults from local schools and community groups, which they produced during workshop sessions.
