Stainless steel and bronze.
5 metres high.
The sculpture represents a milestone referring to Fenny Stratford's position on the great Roman road Watling Street.
Bronze castings around the base depict key moments in history which would have been witnessed by the people of Fenny Stratford, from the origins of the town as the Roman camp Magiovinium to the present day. The marsh plants forming the body of the sculpture refer to the rivers landscape on what was the ford through the River Ouse.
